Device security and privacy disclosure

At vSeeBox, we value transparency, device security, and user privacy. This disclosure explains the operating system versions used in our devices, firmware distribution practices, and our commitment to providing secure hardware.

Android Operating System Versions

vSeeBox devices operate on official Android-based systems optimized for smart TV performance.

Current models use the following Android versions:

  • vSeeBox V6 Plus / vSeeBox V6 Max — Android 14

  • vSeeBox Elite Ultra / vSeeBox V5 Pro — Android 12

  • vSeeBox V3 Plus / vSeeBox V3 Pro — Android 11

These systems are designed to provide stable performance, compatibility with modern applications, and long-term system support.

Non-Rooted Secure System

All vSeeBox devices are shipped with a Non-Rooted operating system.
This means the system has not been rooted, modified, or jailbroken, helping maintain system integrity and security protections.

The software environment is designed to comply with Google Play Protect security standards, ensuring safer app installations and improved protection against malicious software.

Official Firmware Distribution

Firmware updates for vSeeBox devices are distributed exclusively through official OTA (Over-The-Air) update servers provided by the manufacturer.

Our firmware policy includes the following commitments:

  • Firmware is delivered through official update channels

  • System packages are verified before release

  • No unauthorized modifications are applied by our store

  • No unapproved third-party APK files are pre-installed

This ensures customers receive a clean and secure system environment.

Security Inspection & Responsible Distribution

As a responsible distributor, we perform random security inspections on product batches before shipment. These checks are intended to verify system integrity and help ensure that devices do not contain malicious software or hidden backdoors.

We also monitor publicly available security research and industry reports related to Android-based streaming devices. When relevant findings are published, we review them carefully and apply additional checks when necessary.

Our goal is to provide devices that respect user privacy, system security, and responsible distribution standards.
